Arts Strategy Review:

Process and timetable for preparing this important strategy document approved by Board. Steering Group established involving both portfolio Board Members and Members from Regeneration and Lifelong Learning Subject Committees.

KEY ISSUES OVER NEXT FEW MONTHS

• Arts Strategy preparation, including crucial need to build a consensus with our many partners in the field of arts provision.
• Museums:
  Working Groups reconstituted to develop recommendations to the Council on how we should respond to the Radnorshire Museum and Dolymynach bequests. (Board has ensured Subject Committee representation on both these working groups).
• Brecon Museum and Art Gallery:
  
  An exciting and major capital project is being developed which will need a lot of work to secure a funding package.
